Installation Procedure

Install the starter (1) with the right side flywheel inspection cover.
- Starter Mounting Bolt(2) - Install and tighten[2x]50 N.m (37 lb ft)
Install the right side flywheel inspection cover bolt (1) and tighten to 9N.m (80 lb in)
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe(1) - Install - Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (LWN) , or Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (LV1)
Battery Positive Cable(1) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Nut(2) - Install and tighten 14 N.m (124 lb in)
- Electrical Connector(4)@Starter Solenoid - Connect
- Protective Sleeve (3) - Reposition
Starter Heat Shield(4) - Install - Starter Shield Replacement (LV1)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
