Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
The new replacement wiring harness may not have electrical connector (2). It will be a one piece harness.
Install automatic transmission control wiring harness (4).
- If necessary, install the control valve body to the transmission. Control Valve Body Replacement
- Connect the wiring harness clips to the valve body and case.
- Connect the transmission control wiring harness connectors.
- If equipped, ensure the valve body connector retainer (3) is latched.
Install the transmission fluid filter (4). Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (LWN Diesel) , or Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (Except LWN Diesel) .
