Installation Procedure

Install the side rear door (2) to the vehicle with an assistant.
- Install the side rear door hinge pins (1) using the J 41226 door hinge pin drillout kit and the J 41226-50 door hinge pin adapter kit.
- Install the latch striker. Rear Side Door Latch Striker Replacement - Lower
- Install the latch handle. Rear Side Door Latch Control Replacement
- Install the upper and the lower door latches. Rear Side Door Latch Replacement - Upper , and Rear Side Door Lower Latch Replacement
- Install the side rear door upper and lower door wedges to the door. Sliding Rear Side Door Locator and Door Side Wedge Replacement (Locator)
- Install the weatherstrips, if needed. Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement , or Intermediate Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement
- Install the hinged side window or the stationary side window. Body Side Window Replacement (Stationary)Body Side Window Replacement (Swing out)
