Preliminary Procedures Place the window in the fully down position. Remove front door trim panel. Refer to Front Door Trim Plate Replacement .
1	Outside Rearview Mirror Nut (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution. Procedure Take the weight off the three mirror studs using an aid to assist in holding the mirror in place, then follow the torque sequence steps below. Torque the front nut first. Torque the top nut second. Torque the rear nut last. Check static torque (should be no less then 8 Nm). Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in).

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

Procedure

Take the weight off the three mirror studs using an aid to assist in holding the mirror in place, then follow the torque sequence steps below.
Torque the front nut first.
Torque the top nut second.
Torque the rear nut last.
Check static torque (should be no less then 8 Nm).

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in).
