Removal Procedure

Engine Coolant Fan Lower Shroud (1) - Remove - Engine Coolant Fan Lower Shroud Replacement (L96, LC8)
Air Conditioning Compressor Belt (3) - Remove - Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement
Install the EN-52287 Balancer Holding Kit (1) and the EN-956 - 1 Extension Bar (2) to the crankshaft balancer (3).
Crankshaft Balancer Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD
- Remove the EN-52287 Balancer Holding Kit and the EN-956 - 1 Extension Bar.
Install the EN-41816 - A Crankshaft Balancer Remover (1) and the EN-44226 - 5 Crankshaft Protector, and use tool adjustment to release the crankshaft balancer (2).
- Once the crankshaft balancer (2) has released, remove the EN-41816 - A Crankshaft Balancer Remover (1) and the EN-44226 - 5 Crankshaft Protector.
Crankshaft Balancer (1) - Remove
- Crankshaft Balancer (1) - Clean and inspect - Crankshaft Balancer Cleaning and Inspection
