Removal Procedure

- Water Pump - Remove - Water Pump Replacement (L96, LC8)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the camshaft position actuator magnet.
- Remove the engine front cover bolts (2).
- NOTE:
To clear the camshaft position sensor wire bracket, turn the camshaft position actuator magnet clockwise and then remove.
Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet (1) and gasket (2) from the engine front cover.
DISCARD the gasket.
