Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Front and Rear Propeller Shaft (1) - Remove - Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (With M5U) , or Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (With MYD) , or Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (Chassis Cab with MYD) , or Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (Chassis Cab with M5U) .
Propeller Shaft Slip Yoke Boot (2) - Remove - Propeller Shaft Slip Yoke Boot Replacement (Front to Rear Propeller Shaft Interface)
Install the J-39477 Puller Kit (1) to the propeller shaft center support bearing (2).
- Position the J-39477 Puller Kit (1) in a vise.
- Using the J-39477 Puller Kit (1), remove the propeller shaft center support bearing (2)with the propeller shaft center support bearing retainer from the propeller shaft front tube, discard the retainer.
