Installation Procedure

Position the propeller shaft front tube (3)in a vertical position resting on a block of wood.
- Propeller Shaft Center Support Bearing (2) - Loosely install
- Drive the propeller shaft center support bearing (2)in the direction shown by the arrow using J-25234 Gear and Bearing Installer (1)until firmly seated on the propeller shaft front tube (3).
Propeller Shaft Center Support Bearing Retainer (2) - Install NEW
- Drive the propeller shaft center support bearing retainer (2)in the direction shown by the arrow using J-25234 Gear and Bearing Installer (1)until firmly seated into the propeller shaft center support bearing (3).
Propeller Shaft Slip Yoke Boot (2) - Install - Propeller Shaft Slip Yoke Boot Replacement (Front to Rear Propeller Shaft Interface)
Front and Rear Propeller Shaft (1) - Install - Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (With M5U) , or Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (With MYD) , or Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (Chassis Cab with MYD) , or Front and Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (Chassis Cab with M5U) .
- Lower the vehicle.
