Assembly Procedure

Lubricate the NEW caliper piston seal (1) with brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Rear Brake Caliper Piston Seal(1)@Rear Brake Caliper - Install NEW[2x]
- Apply a thin coat of brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container to the brake caliper bore. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- NOTE:
Seat the NEW caliper piston dust boot in the groove of the brake caliper piston.
Rear Brake Caliper Piston Boot(1)@Rear Brake Caliper Piston - Install NEW[2x]
Rear Brake Caliper Piston(1)@Rear Brake Caliper - Install[2x]
- Compress the caliper piston (1) to the bottom of the caliper bore.
Fully seat the piston dust boot seal (1) into caliper counterbore.
- CAUTION:
Bleeder Valve (2) - Install and hand tighten
Rear Brake Caliper(1) - Install - Rear Brake Caliper Replacement (JH6) , or Rear Brake Caliper Replacement (JH9)
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)
