Installation Procedure

NOTE:
Do NOT use air tools to remove or install the guide pin bolts. Use hand tools ONLY.

CAUTION:
Fastener Caution .

Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt- Upper(1) - Install and tighten72 N.m (53 lb ft)

Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt- Lower(1) - Install and tighten72 N.m (53 lb ft)
Install the rear tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
With the engine OFF, gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance.
Slowly release the brake pedal.
Wait 15 seconds, then repeat steps 9-10 until a firm brake pedal is obtained. This will properly seat the brake caliper pistons and brake pads.
