Installation Procedure

Position the steering linkage inner tie rod (1) on the vehicle.
- CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Use the J-34028 wrench (1) to hold the steering linkage inner tie rod and install the steering linkage inner tie rod retaining nut (2).
Install a NEW nut.
- Tighten the steering linkage inner tie rod retaining nut (2) to 112 N.m (83 lb ft).
- If necessary, add the appropriate amount of grease through the grease fitting.

- Measure and adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment
