Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
Support the front lower control arm with a jack stand.

Front Brake Hose (3) - Reposition away

Front Upper Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1)@Front Upper Control Arm Ball Stud (2) - Remove

Using the J-45851 Ball Joint Separator Protector Adapters (3) and the CH-43631 Ball Joint Separator (1) as shown, separate the front upper control arm ball stud (2) from the steering knuckle.

Front Upper Control Arm Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
