Installation Procedure

  1. Clean ALL grease and contaminants from the tapered section and the threads of the front upper control arm ball stud, the front lower control arm ball stud, and the steering linkage outer tie rod.
  2. Clean and inspect the taper holes and the mounting surfaces of the steering knuckle. If ANY of the tapered holes are elongated, out of round, or damaged, then replace the steering knuckle.

    Front Upper Control Arm Ball Stud (2)@Steering Knuckle - Install - Upper Control Arm Replacement

    Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud (2)@Steering Knuckle - Install - Lower Control Arm Replacement 

  6. Remove the jack stand from underneath the front lower control arm.

    Front Wheel Hub (1) - Install - Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement

    Front Wheel Speed Sensor (1)@Steering Knuckle - Install - Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement

    Front Brake Rotor (1) - Install - Front Brake Rotor Replacement (JH6) , or Front Brake Rotor Replacement (JH9)

    Front Brake Hose (3)@Steering Knuckle - Install - Front Brake Hose Replacement

  12. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
  13. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  14. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
