Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Use the outer flange of the front lower control arm ball joint to press the ball joint into place.
Using the hydraulic press, install the front lower control arm ball stud (1) into the front lower control arm (2).
- Secure the front lower control arm in a vise.
- Use an appropriate punch to make 4 crimps to the front lower control arm ball stud body.
Front Lower Control Arm (1) - Install - Lower Control Arm Replacement
Front Coil Spring (2) - Install - Front Spring Replacement (without C7I) , or Front Spring Replacement (with C7I)
- Front Stabilizer Shaft Link - Install - Stabilizer Shaft Replacement
Front Shock Absorber (2) - Install - Shock Absorber Replacement
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
NOTE:
Use the OLD front lower control arm ball stud as a reference to properly locate the crimps.
