Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)

Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

Remove the fuel feed and return harness bracket nut (1).
Remove the fuel feed hose protector bolt (2).
Remove the fuel feed hose protector (3).

Remove the fuel injection pump metering valve fasteners (1).
Remove the fuel injection pump metering valve (2).
Remove and DISCARD the fuel injection pump metering valve o-ring seal. The seal is NOT shown.
