1	Exhaust Temperature Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Release the retainers from the frame. If reinstalling the old sensor, coat the threads with anti-sieze compound. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers . If replacing, perform the exhaust gas temperature sensor reset. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Reset If replacing, perform the NOx catalyst reductant loading reset. NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset NOTE: Apply penetrating oil to the sensor and allow to soak for 10 minutes prior to removal. Tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Release the retainers from the frame.

NOTE:

Apply penetrating oil to the sensor and allow to soak for 10 minutes prior to removal.

Tighten
45 N.m (33 lb ft)
