Installation Procedure

- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
NOTE:If reinstalling the old sensor, coat the threads with anti-sieze compound. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (1) - Install and tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Engage
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
- Engine Cover - Install - Engine Cover Replacement
- If replacing, perform the exhaust gas temperature sensor reset. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Reset
- If replacing, perform the NOx catalyst reductant loading reset. NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset
