Removal Procedure

  1. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement 
  2. Engine Cover - Remove - Engine Cover Replacement

    Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

  4. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler temperature sensor wiring clip (2) from the bracket (3).
  5. Remove the EGR cooler temperature sensor wiring (4) from the clip (5).

    NOTE:

    Apply penetrating oil to the sensor and allow to soak for 10 minutes prior to removal.

    Use a suitable deep, flare nut socket designed for removing/installing sensors to remove the EGR cooler temperature sensor (1).
