Removal Procedure

- Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement
- Engine Cover - Remove - Engine Cover Replacement
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler temperature sensor wiring clip (2) from the bracket (3).
- Remove the EGR cooler temperature sensor wiring (4) from the clip (5).
- NOTE:
Apply penetrating oil to the sensor and allow to soak for 10 minutes prior to removal.
Use a suitable deep, flare nut socket designed for removing/installing sensors to remove the EGR cooler temperature sensor (1).
