Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    If reinstalling the old sensor, coat the threads with anti-sieze compound. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .

    Use a suitable deep, flare nut socket designed for removing/installing sensors install the EGR cooler temperature sensor (1) and tighten to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

    Install the EGR cooler temperature sensor wiring (4) in the clip (5).

  3. Install the EGR cooler temperature sensor wiring clip (2) to the bracket (3).
  4. Connect the electrical connector (1).
  5. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose - Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement 
  6. Engine Cover - Install - Engine Cover Replacement
  7. If replacing, perform the exhaust gas temperature sensor reset. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Reset 
  8. If replacing, perform the NOx catalyst reductant loading reset. NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset
