Installation Procedure

    Position the power steering pump (2) on the vehicle.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Power Steering Pump Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[3x]22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose(3) @ Power Steering Pump - Install - Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Replacement (With LWN) , or Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Replacement (Without LWN) 

  4. Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose(2) @ Power Steering Pump - Install - Power Steering Cooler Pipe/Hose Replacement (Without LWN, Without Brake Warning Indicator) , or Power Steering Cooler Pipe/Hose Replacement (Without LWN, With Brake Warning Indicator) 
  5. Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose(1) @ Power Steering Pump - Install - Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (With LWN) , or Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (Without LWN) 
  6. Power Steering Pump Pulley - Install - Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (Without LWN) , or Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (With LWN) 
  7. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
