Removal Procedure

  1. Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.

    Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose Clamp(1) @ Power Steering Pump - Disengage

  3. Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose(2) @ Power Steering Pump - Remove
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  5. Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)

    Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Remove

  7. Remove the power steering fluid cooler hose seal (2).

    DISCARD the seal.

    Power Steering Fluid Cooler Hose Bracket Bolt(1) - Remove[2x]

  9. Power Steering Fluid Cooler Bracket(2) - Remove[2x]

    From underneath the vehicle, guide the power steering fluid cooler (1) clear of the vehicle frame and downwards out of the engine compartment.
