Removal Procedure

  1. Remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement
  4. Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
  5. Wiring Harness @ Power Brake Booster - Reposition away

    Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Remove and position aside - Power Steering Gear Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement (With LWN)

    Power Brake Booster Outlet Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Remove

  8. Remove the power brake booster outlet hose seal (2).

    DISCARD the seal.

  9. Partially lower the vehicle.

    Remove the power brake booster outlet hose strap (1).

    DISCARD the strap.

  11. Power Brake Booster Outlet Hose(2) @ Power Brake Booster - Remove
  12. Remove the power brake booster outlet hose seal (3).

    DISCARD the seal.

    Remove the power brake booster outlet hose (1) from the vehicle through the top of the engine compartment.
