Installation Procedure

    Position the power brake booster outlet hose (1) on the vehicle through the top of the engine compartment.

    Install a NEW power brake booster outlet hose seal (3) on the power brake booster outlet hose.

    Apply a small amount of power steering fluid on the seal to aid in installation.

  3. Power Brake Booster Outlet Hose(2) @ Power Brake Booster - Install and tighten34 N.m (25 lb ft)
  4. Install a NEW power brake booster outlet hose strap (1).
  5. Raise the vehicle.

    Install a NEW power brake booster outlet hose seal (2) on the power brake booster outlet hose.

    Apply a small amount of power steering fluid on the seal to aid in installation.

  7. Power Brake Booster Outlet Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Install and tighten34 N.m (25 lb ft)

    Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose(1) @ Steering Gear - Install - Power Steering Gear Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement (With LWN) 

  9. Wiring Harness @ Power Brake Booster - Install
  10. Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement
  13. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
