Installation Procedure

    Route the transmission fluid cooler pipe (2) into proper position.

  2. Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip (3) - Install
  3. Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Remove the caps from the fittings and plugs from the holes before installing the transmission fluid cooler pipes.

    Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Fitting Seal (2) - Install a NEW seal.

  5. Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (3) @ Transmission - Install
  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  7. Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bolt (1) @ Transmission Install and tighten22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip (2) - Engage

  9. NOTE:

    Remove the caps from the fittings and plugs from the holes before installing the transmission fluid cooler pipes.

  10. Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler - Install - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection

    NOTE:

    Cap the openings to prevent contamination.

    Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (1) @ Radiator (2) - Install - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection 

  12. Front Grille - Install - Front Grille Replacement (Chevrolet)Front Grille Replacement (GMC)
  13. Check the transmission fluid level. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
  14. Inspect for transmission fluid leaks.
  15. Remove the drain pan.
