Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Remove the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
  3. Install & SetupSpecial ToolDT-47825-10
  4. Connect the tool between the test points: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly & Wiring Harness@Vehicle
  5. Use a suitable tool.Press and hold the switch - Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch
  6. Verify the scan tool parameter changes
    • Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch 1
    • Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch 2
    • Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch 4
    • Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch 5
    • If the parameter state does not change 

      Replace the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly

    • Go to next step: If the parameter state changes 
  7. Verify a condition does not exist with the component: Filter Plate Assembly
    • If a condition exists 

      Clean the components as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If no condition exists 
  8. All OK.
