Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off & Remove - Test lamp
  2. Remove the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
  3. Verify a condition does not exist with the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly

    Refer to: Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection 

    • If a condition exists 

      Clean the components as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If no condition exists 
  4. Install & SetupSpecial ToolDT-47825-10
  5. Connect the tool between the test points: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly & Wiring Harness@Vehicle
  6. Verify the scan tool parameter: = OK or Not Run
    • Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Performance Test Status
    • Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
    • Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
    • If not the specified state 

      Replace the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly

    • Go to next step: If the specified state 
  7. All OK.
