Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Right Side (3) - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Outlet Hose (2) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Remove
- Lower the vehicle.
Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose (2) - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement
Plenum Drain Tube (2) - Remove - Plenum Drain Tube Replacement (Without LWN) , or Plenum Drain Tube Replacement (With LWN)
Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Outlet Hose Clip (3) @ Heater Inlet Hose - Remove
- Heater Outlet Hose (2) @ Heater Core Outlet Tube - Remove
- Heater Outlet Hose (2) - Remove
