Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)

    Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield- Left Side (3) - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side)

    Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  4. Heater Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Coolant Thermostat - Remove
  5. Engine Cover - Remove - Engine Cover Replacement

    Heater Inlet Hose Clip (1) @ Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Remove

    Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
