Installation Procedure

Heater Inlet Hose (3) @ Heater Core Inlet Tube - Install
- Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Outlet Hose Clip (1) @ Heater Inlet Hose - Install
Plenum Drain Tube (2) - Install - Plenum Drain Tube Replacement (Without LWN) , or Plenum Drain Tube Replacement (With LWN)
Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose (2) - Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Heater Inlet Hose (2) @ Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install
- Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Right Side (3) - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
