Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging

    Coolant Recovery Reservoir (1) - Remove - Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement (LV1) , or Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement (L96, LC8)

    Disconnect the electrical connectors. (1) [2x]

  4. Engine Wiring Harness Bolt (2) - Remove
  5. Reposition the wiring harness.
  6. Radiator Vent Outlet Hose Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove
  7. Radiator Vent Outlet Hose Bracket (4) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator - Remove - Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Replacement (C60) , or Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Replacement (C69) 

  9. Air Conditioning Accumulator (2) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator - Remove - Air Conditioning Accumulator Replacement

    Blower Case Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

  11. Accumulator Bracket (2) - Remove

    NOTE:

    The Plenum Lower Panel has been removed for clarity of the service procedure.

    Blower Case Bolt (1) - Remove [7x]

    Blower Case Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  14. Air Conditioning Evaporator Clamp Tube Bolt (2) - Remove

    Blower Case Assembly (1) - Remove

    Orifice and Baffle Cutoff Case (2) @ Blower Case Assembly (1) - Remove

  17. Transfer components as necessary.
