Installation Procedure

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (2) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe (1) - Install - Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Replacement (Intermediate & C36) , or Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Replacement (Rear & C36)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Nut (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe Bolt (1) @ Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install - Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LWN with C69) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LWN Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LWN Water Pump Inlet Pipe to Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LWN without C69) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LV1 Water Pump to Heater Core Outlet Tube without C69) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LV1 Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube to Heater Core Outlet Tube with C69) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (L96, LC8 Heater Water Flow Control Valve to Heater Core Outlet Tube) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (L96, LC8 Water Pump Housing to Heater Water Flow Control Valve) , or Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (L96 Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe to Heater Core Outlet Tube) 

  5. Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (8) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  6. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose (2) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install - Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (L96, LV1 Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube to Water Pump with C69) 
  7. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (7) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  8. Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose (3) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install - Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (L96, LV1 Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube to Water Pump with C69) 
  9. Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (6) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  10. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose (4) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install - Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (L96, LV1 Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Front Tube to Water Pump with C69) 
  11. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (5) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Right Side (3) - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)

    Coolant Recovery Reservoir (1) - Install - Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement (LV1) , or Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement (L96, LC8)

  14. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
  15. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
