Installation Procedure

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose- Rear (2) - Install - Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Replacement (Intermediate & C36) , or Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Replacement (Rear & C36)

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (2) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install

  3. Hose Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution .

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Clip Bolt (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Clip Nut (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Install seven visible rivets (1) and secure the catalytic converter heat shield (2). Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement - Body Panel

  7. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
  8. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
