Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  2. Front Grille - Remove - Front Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) , or Front Grille Replacement (GMC)
  3. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Pressure Sensor - Remove - Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement 
  4. Disconnect and reposition the hood primary and secondary latch electrical connector and wire harness out of the way.

    Headlamp- Left Side (4) - Remove - Front Headlamp Replacement

    Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (3) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove

  7. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Remove
  8. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer. (1) Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement

    Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Right Side (3) - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)

    Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Bolt (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove

  11. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove
  12. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer. (3) Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement 
  13. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  14. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (1) from the vehicle.
