Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC P0070 - P0074, P0101 - P0103, P010B - P010D, P0111 - P0119, P0128, P0201 - P0204, P020A - P020D, P0216, P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271, P02EE, P02EF, P02F0, P02F1, P0335, P0336, P0502, P0503, P062B, P062D, P0697, P06A3, P0722, P0723, P0729, P0731 - P0736, P076F, P077C, P077D, P111E, P1248, P1249, P124A, P124B, P126A, P18C4 - P18CA, P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128, P2138, P2147, P2148, P2150, or P2151 is not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify there are no aftermarket performance enhancing devices installed on the vehicle.
  4. W or n or failed accessory drive components may cause this DTC to set.
  5. Verify the proper fuel is used. Refer to Fuel System Specifications , and Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis .
  6. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  7. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  8. All OK.
