Circuit/System Testing

    NOTE:

    Only perform the Circuit/System Testing portion of the Fuel Injector Balance Test.

  1. Verify that no cylinders have low compression and no fuel injector nozzles are clogged, stuck open, or stuck closed. Perform the Circuit/System Testing of the Fuel Injector Balance Test.

    Refer to Fuel Injector Balance Test .

    • If a fuel injector nozzle is clogged, stuck open, or stuck closed 

      Replace the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector.

    • If one or more of the cylinders indicate low compression 

      Repair as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If all cylinders indicate normal compression and no fuel injector nozzles are clogged, stuck open, or stuck closed 
  2. All OK.
