Removal Procedure

WARNING:
Refer to Brake Dust Warning .
- Release the parking brake.
- Disable the parking brake cable adjuster. Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
Parking Brake Rear Cable (2) @ Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever (1) - Remove - Parking Brake Rear Cable Replacement - Left Side , or Parking Brake Rear Cable Replacement - Right Side
Rear Brake Rotor (1) - Remove - Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (JH6) , or Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (JH9)
- NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the axle shaft, it is shown removed for clarity.
Rear Parking Brake Shoe (1) - Remove [2x] - Parking Brake Shoe Replacement (JH6) , or Parking Brake Shoe Replacement (JH9)
Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever (1) - Remove
- Rear Parking Brake Actuator Boot (2) @ Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever (1) - Separate
