Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Route the left parking brake rear cable as previously noted. Pass the left parking brake rear cable through the parking brake rear cable guides and frame brackets as necessary.
Parking Brake Rear Cable- Left Side (2) - Install
- Parking Brake Rear Cable- Left Side (2) @ Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever (1) - Install
- Perform the following procedure to install the left parking brake rear cable (2) to the rear parking brake anchor backing plate (4).
- Compress the left parking brake rear cable spring (3) by pushing toward the rear parking brake actuator lever (1).
- Route the left parking brake rear cable (2) through the slot in the rear parking brake anchor backing plate.
- Push the left parking brake rear cable housing into the rear parking brake anchor backing plate (4) until the locking tabs snap into place.
Parking Brake Rear Cable- Left Side (1) @ Parking Brake Cable Equalizer (2) - Install
Parking Brake Intermediate Cable (1) @ Parking Brake Rear Cable- Left Side (2) - Connect
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Enable the parking brake cable adjuster. Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling
- Adjust the parking brake. Parking Brake Adjustment
