Installation Procedure

Clean the threads of the electronic coolant temperature sensor (1) and apply sealer. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Install the electronic coolant temperature sensor (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Connect the electrical connector (1).
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
