Review proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant prior to installing sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant
Apply a 5 mm (0. 197 in) bead of sealant to the oil pan flange (1). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

Upper Oil Pan - Install
Upper Oil Pan Bolt(2) - Loosely install[24x]
Upper Oil Pan Bolt(1) - Loosely install[4x]

Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
1. First Pass bolts 1 - 24 15 N. m (11 lb ft) bolts 25 - 28 45 N. m (33 lb ft).
2. Final Pass bolts 1 - 24 15 N. m (11 lb ft) bolts 25 - 28 45 N. m (33 lb ft).

Engine Oil Cooler Pipe(3) - Reposition
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Bracket Bolt(2) - Install and tighten - Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (LWN) , or Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (LV1)

Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe - Reposition
Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip Bolt(1) @ Engine Block - Install and tighten - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement (M5U) , or Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement (MYD)

Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip(1) - Engage

Oil Pan Deadener(2) - Install
Oil Pan Deadener Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[5x]10 N. m (89 lb in)

Catalytic Converter Bracket(2) - Install
Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Nut(1) - Install[4x] - Catalytic Converter Replacement (LWN) , or Catalytic Converter Replacement (L96, LC8)

Electrical Connector(2) - Connect
Reposition the electrical connector sleeve (1).
Oil Level Indicator Tube - Install - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement
Crankshaft Position Sensor - Install - Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Electrical Connector(1) - Connect
Front Suspension Crossmember - Install - Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement
Change the engine oil and filter. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
