Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
Do not allow the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring to come into contact with external magnetic fields or sharp metal objects. Do not drop the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring. Do not damage the rubberized encoder track. Failure to follow these precautions may cause damage to the component.

NOTE:
Ensure that the crankshaft position sensor exciter ring dowel pin indicated by arrow properly aligns with the hole in the crankshaft position sensor exciter ring.
