Upper Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection: Disassemble

Remove the oil pump suction pipe bolts (1).
- Remove the oil pump suction pipe (2).
Remove the oil level switch retainer (3).
- Remove the oil level switch bolts[2x] (1).
- Remove the oil level switch (2) and spacers[2x] (4).
Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant
- Clean the sealing material from the gasket mating surfaces on the upper oil pan (1).
