Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Support the transmission with a safety stand.
Disconnect the fuel filter bracket (1) from transmission support crossmember. Fuel Filter Bracket Replacement
Disconnect the exhaust front bracket (3) from transmission support crossmember. Exhaust Front Bracket Replacement (LWN)
- Disconnect the fuel lines from transmission support crossmember, as necessary.
- Disconnect the wire harness retainers from transmission support crossmember, as necessary.
Disconnect the DEF line retainers (1) from the transmission support crossmember.
Remove the transmission mount to the transmission support crossmember retaining nut (1).
Remove the six transmission support crossmember to the frame mounting bolts (1).
- Remove the transmission support crossmember (2) from the vehicle.
