Removal Procedure

  1. Cylinder Head - Remove - Cylinder Head Replacement - Left Side , or Cylinder Head Replacement - Right Side

    Valve Lifter Guide Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    3. NOTE:

    Installed position of the guides - the notched area of the guide must align with the locating tab of the block.

  3. Valve Lifter Guide (2) - Remove [2x]
  4. Valve Lifter (3) - Remove [6x]
  5. Organize or mark the components so they can be installed in the same location from which they were removed. Separating Parts 
  6. For valve lifter and guide cleaning and inspection. Valve Lifter and Guide Cleaning and Inspection
