Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    The brake hose must not be twisted. Make sure the brake hose is not in contact with any suspension component.

    Front Brake Hose(3) - Install

  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Front Brake Hose Bolt(2) @ Front Brake Hose(3) - Install and tighten[2x]10 N.m (89 lb in)
  4. Front Wheel Speed Sensor(1) @ Front Brake Hose(3) - Install
  5. Remove the caps from the brake caliper and the brake hose.

    Front Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (3) - Install NEW[2x]

  7. Front Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (2) @ Front Brake Hose(1) - Install and tighten44 N.m (32 lb ft)
  8. Remove the caps or plugs from the brake pipe fitting and the brake hose.

    Front Brake Pipe Clip(1) @ Front Brake Hose(2) - Install

    NOTE:

    Use a backup wrench at the front brake hose when tightening the front brake pipe fitting.

    Front Brake Pipe Fitting(1) @ Front Brake Hose(2) - Install and tighten25 N.m (18 lb ft)

  11. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) 
  12. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
  13. NOTE:

    Ensure that the brake hose does not make contact with any part of the suspension or the tire/wheel assembly. Inspect the brake hose in extreme right and left turn conditions. If the brake hose makes contact remove the brake hose and correct the condition.

  14. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
