Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Install a NEW seal.
Water Pump Inlet Pipe Seal(2) - Install
- Water Pump Inlet Pipe(3) - Install
- Water Pump Inlet Pipe Bolt(1) - Install and tighten25 N.m (18 lb ft)
Engine Coolant Hose(2) - Connect[4x]
- Engine Coolant Hose Clamp(1) - Engage[4x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket - Install - Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket Replacement (LWN) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket Replacement (L96, LC8) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket Replacement (LV1)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
