Installation Procedure

Radiator Surge Tank(1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Radiator Surge Tank Bolt(1) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Install and tighten9 N.m (80 lb in)
Electrical Connector(1) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Connect
Radiator Vent Inlet Hose(2) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Install - Radiator Vent Inlet Hose Replacement (LWN) , or Radiator Vent Inlet Hose Replacement (L96, LC8)
Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose(2) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Install - Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose Replacement (LWN)
Radiator Air Upper Baffle(1) - Install - Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (LWN) , or Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (LV1) , or Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (L96, LC8)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
