Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side(3) - Remove - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
Air Conditioning Compressor Nut(3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor(1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt(4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor(1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Stud(2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor(1) - Remove
- Reposition and support the air conditioning compressor (1).
Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt(1) - Remove
Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Inlet Hose(2) @ Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing - Remove
Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Inlet Hose(2) @ Radiator - Remove
- Radiator Inlet Hose(2) - Remove
