Installation Procedure

Radiator Inlet Hose(2) @ Radiator - Install
- Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp(1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Radiator Inlet Hose(2) @ Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing - Install
- Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp(1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt(1) - Install and tighten22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Install the air conditioning compressor (1) to the vehicle.
- Air Conditioning Compressor Stud(2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor(1) - Install and tighten - Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LWN) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LV1) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (L96, LC8)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt(4) @ Air Conditioning Compressor(1) - Install and tighten - Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LWN) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LV1) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (L96, LC8)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Nut(3) @ Air Conditioning Compressor(1) - Install and tighten - Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LWN) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LV1) , or Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (L96, LC8)
Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield-Left Side(3) - Install - Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Left Side) , or Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Right Side)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
