Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)

    Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  3. Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose(2) @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove
  4. Engine Cover - Remove - Engine Cover Replacement

    Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  6. Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose(2) @ Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe - Remove
  7. Hose Clip(3) @ Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose - Remove

    Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  9. Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose(2) @ Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose - Remove
  10. Wiring Harness Clip(3) @ Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose - Remove
  11. Hose Clip(4) @ Vacuum Hose - Remove
  12. Heater Water Bypass Outlet Hose(2) - Remove
