Removal Procedure

Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud(1) - Remove - Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (LWN) , or Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (LV1) , or Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (L96, LC8)
Install J-41240 fan clutch remover and installer (2) into the fan and water pump pulley.
- Install J-41240-5A fan clutch wrench (1) with a long breaker bar (3) onto the fan blade clutch.
- Turn the fan blade clutch counterclockwise to remove the fan blade and fan blade clutch as an assembly.
- Remove J-41240-5A fan clutch wrench (1) and long breaker bar (3) from the fan blade clutch.
- Remove J-41240 fan clutch remover and installer (2) from the fan and water pump pulley.
Remove the fan blade and fan blade clutch as an assembly (1).
Fan Blade Bolt(1) - Remove[4x]
